Mini Bio. Daniel McDonald was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the youngest of seven siblings. A life member of the Actors Studio, he has also studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, with Paul Curtis of the American Mime Company, and with famed acting teacher Sanford Meisner.
Daniel McDonald was a leading man in musical comedies such as Steel Pier and High Society, earning a Tony nomination and a Drama Desk Award. He died in 2007 from brain cancer at age 46, leaving behind his wife and two children.
