The year 2000 is a really fascinating year of cinema to go back and watch. Lots of wild stabs in the dark in how the 'net' will shape the future. Lots of cellphone & email use, but always very intentional (instead of standard way of communicating). There is an element or feeling that the positive energy isn't real.
