Waterford Kamhlaba UWC is a boarding school that offers a multicultural and multilingual education to students from 11 to 20 years old. Founded in 1963 as a response to apartheid, it is the only UWC school on the South hemisphere calendar and has strong ties with local change-makers.

It is one of 18 international schools and colleges in the United World Colleges educational movement. Waterford was the first school in southern Africa open to children and youth of all colours.
