If he was killed after his battle, Flowey does not leave a message for the protagonist after the credits close, and, after a reset, does not appear until after the resolution of Asgore's battle. Flowey then berates the protagonist for thinking that killing him solved anything.
Once the player has defeated Asgore, Flowey will appear to kill Asgore himself should the player spare him or thank the player if they chose to kill him. Either way, Flowey will then take the six human Souls Asgore had collected and absorb them, causing the game to crash.

If the protagonist decides to kill Asgore, Flowey appears, destroys Asgore's SOUL, and absorbs the six bottled human SOULs. If the protagonist spares Asgore, Flowey appears and kills Asgore himself. Then, the game crashes and Flowey's battle begins.
If the player killed some monsters during the last playthrough, Flowey will remind the player that they must not kill anyone. If the player has avoided becoming a murderer, Flowey will instead suggest that the player befriends everyone they can.
