Kit Watkins (born 1953) is an American progressive-ambient-jazz recording artist based in Brattleboro, Vermont. He was previously a member of the band Happy the Man. [1] Beginnings. Born in Virginia to classical piano teachers, Watkins took piano lessons from the age of 5 to 13.
The Gathering CDs are available at the Kit Watkins shop. A video of the concert is now available on DVD. Also in 2001, Kit briefly formed an improvisational ensemble named Tone Ghost Ether. The group was realized through a natural interaction between three musicians (Kit Watkins, Brad Allen, John Tlusty) searching for a common form of expression.

Kit Watkins, the star of the recording, establishes himself as the most accomplished (and the fastest) Mini-Moog player. The keyboard arrangements (with Frank Wyatt sharing keyboard duties) summon a magical haze of electric piano and string-synth.
