Steppenwolf es un grupo de rock de los años 1960 y 1970. Formado en California sobre la base de la banda canadiense Sparrow. Famosas fueron sus canciones « Magic Carpet Ride » y « Born to Be Wild » (que apareció en la película de Dennis Hopper Easy Rider de 1968).
