Negotin (Serbian Cyrillic: Неготин, [nêɡotiːn] ⓘ; Romanian: Negotin) is a town and municipality located in the Bor District of eastern Serbia. It is situated near the borders between Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria. It is the judicial center of the Bor District.
Negotin (serbocroata cirílico: Неготин) es un municipio y villa de Serbia perteneciente al distrito de Bor. En 2011 su población era de 36 879 habitantes, de los cuales 16 716 vivían en la villa y el resto en las 38 pedanías del municipio. [2]
Situated in the three-border area where Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria meet, in the easternmost part of the country, Negotin is a small city of extravagant beauty and immense historical importance. It is known for its winemaking tradition of more than seven centuries, which is still cherished both in the city itself and in its neighbouring villages.
