The 1897–98 Yale Bulldogs men's basketball team represented Yale University in college basketball during the 1897–98 season. The team finished the season with a 12–9 record. [1] [2] They were disqualified for playing a game against 4th Sep. Company in Yonkers but were later reinstated. [3] .

The 1896–97 Yale Bulldogs men's basketball team represented Yale University in intercollegiate basketball during the 1896–97 season. The team finished the season with an 11–5 record [1] and was retroactively named the national champion by the Premo-Porretta Power Poll.
