The next-generation Volkswagen Transporter is set to arrive in 2024 with an entirely new architecture developed with Ford and, for the first time, with the offer of pure-electric powertrain. The 2024 VW Transporter will replace the outgoing Volkswagen Transporter T6.1, which first went on sale in 2015.

Volkswagen’s van and people-mover line-up is set for a significant overhaul, with the T7 Multivan and as-yet unrevealed next-generation Transporter and Caravelle set for launch in late 2024. They’ll follow the ID. Buzz, which is pencilled in for a mid-2024 launch.
