Thread a shift cable through the hanger backplate (A) and push it through the shift cable sheath. Pull the cable end to bring the hanger backplate up against the inside of the frame. Attach the derailleur hanger to the frame with a 2.5mm hex bolt in the bottom bolt hole. Remove the shift cable and insert the top 2.5mm hex bolt.
