6 de jun. de 2023 · The International Baccalaureate® (IB) learner profile describes a broad range of human capacities and responsibilities that go beyond academic success. They imply a commitment to help all members of the school community learn to respect themselves, others and the world around them.
Approaches to teaching and learning are deliberate strategies, skills and attitudes that permeate the teaching and learning environment. These approaches and tools, intrinsically linked with the IB learner profile attributes, enhance student learning and assist student preparation for DP assessment and beyond.
The learner profile focuses on a set of values and attributes identified by the IB as critical to developing internationally-minded, respectful, and responsible members of local, national, and global communities.
The learner profile is the IB mission statement translated into a set of learning outcomes for the 21st century.
