22 de oct. de 2021 · The myth states that the pitcher should get her hand on top of the ball on the backside of the circle, push the ball (usually with a straight arm) and “snap the wrist” as hard as they can. After that, they teach to pull the arm up and either end with a high elbow or sometimes with the elbow pointed at the catcher.

In Hello Elbow, you are supposed to: Get open (sideways) as early as possible. Land at a 90 degree angle (or close to it) and make a lane for the arm.
2 de ago. de 2021 · Hello elbow refers to the “style” of pitching where a pitcher pushes the ball down the backside of the windmill motion, with hand on top of the ball, “snaps” the wrist and then bends the elbow. Usually the hand will end with fingers pointing up to the sky.

The elbow bump is an informal greeting where two people touch elbows. Interest in this greeting was renewed during the avian flu scare of 2006, the 2009 swine flu pandemic, the Ebola outbreak of 2014, and the COVID-19 pandemic when health officials supported its use as an alternative to hand-shaking to reduce the spread of germs.
