CR-4 Continuous Coil Rod is manufactured and stocked in 12’-0’’ lengths. Special lengths are available up to 20’-0”. Requires minimum two (2) Standard CN-5 Coil Nuts or one (1) Heavy CN-25 Coil Nut to develop full safe work load. Minimum coil thread penetration is same as shown for coil bolts.
SuperTie™ Coil Rod Form Fixture 1/2” offers an ultimate tensile strength of 15,000 pounds (7,500 pounds safe working load at 2:1 safety factor) and is most commonly used with job-built (plywood and 2×4) forms and handset modular forms. The fiberglass rod diameter is 1/2” making the system compatible with most commercial forming systems.
