Clappered snoots act as inlets on concealed, multiple inlet fire department connections. They feature an internal swinging drop clapper (check) which prevents the backflow of water. Cast brass construction. Available standard with pin lugs.
Used as auxiliary connection through which the fire department can pump water to supplement existing water supplies. Provides 250 GPM flow (maximum), per 2 1/2" inlet. Inlet connection features brass* body with female NPT inlets and outlets.
