Young people face particular challenges in realizing their human rights. Challenges like violence, drugs, and limited economic opportunities and political participation. Their access to healthcare, education, decent work, and essential technologies must be protected under the rule of law.
How can youth contribute to strengthening human rights, rule of law and democracy, and what are the obstacles and enablers to their participation? This was the topic of a high-level side event organized by IDLO in cooperation with OHCHR at the 32nd session of the UN Human Rights Council.
