The Key Stage 3 curriculum covers Years 7, 8 and 9. Upon entry, students are placed in mixed ability forms of approximately thirty children and are taught in these groups for some subjects. Students in Years 7, 8 and 9 pursue the National Curriculum studying the following subjects.
There is a blend of academic and vocational courses across all Key Stages to give students the combination they require to pursue their chosen career paths. The curriculum is reviewed annually enabling new courses to be introduced. There are 25 one-hour lessons each week for all students in Years 7 to 11.
