28 de feb. de 2018 · Mute has been described as a spiritual sequel to director Duncan Jones' debut feature Moon, but the connection between the two movies goes further than both being old school sci-fi dramas. They are actually set in the same world, with several key aspects - and characters - from the 2009 film appearing in the Netflix release.
A follow-up to his 2009 film Moon, it stars Alexander Skarsgård, Paul Rudd, Justin Theroux, Robert Sheehan, Noel Clarke, Florence Kasumba, and Dominic Monaghan, revolving around a mute bartender (Skarsgård) searching for the love of his life (Seyneb Saleh) who has mysteriously disappeared.
