"Family" is the eighth episode of the second season of Stargate SG-1. Teal'c and SG-1 return to Chulak to rescue Rya'c, who was taken by Apophis. Eventually, they find him, but Teal'c notices that Rya'c has been brainwashed by Apophis, who sends him to Earth to destroy the Tau'ri.

Family: Directed by William Gereghty. With Richard Dean Anderson, Michael Shanks, Amanda Tapping, Christopher Judge. Teal'c's son Rya'c is kidnapped by Apophis and SG1 tries to rescue him. When Rya'c is recovered he denounces his father and helps to capture the team.
14 de ago. de 1998 · The System Lord Apophis is alive, and has taken Teal'c's son Rya'c. SG-1 returns with Bra'tac to the planet Chulak, where Teal'c sees his wife Drey'auc again for the first time in a year ("Bloodlines"). But he learns some disturbing news about her.
Over its decade of existence, science fiction TV series Stargate SG-1 developed an extensive and detailed backdrop of diverse characters. Many of the characters are members of alien species discovered while exploring the galaxy through the Stargate, although there are an equal number of characters from offworld human civilizations.
Bra'tac comes to Earth to inform SG-1 that Apophis survived the destruction of his ship, returned to Chulak and kidnapped Teal'c's son Rya'c. SG-1 accompany Bra'tac back to Chulak to help rescue him but soon find the child is brainwashed and is now serving Apophis.
