Shanxi (en chino, 山西; pinyin, Shānxī ⓘ) es una de las veintidós provincias que, junto con las cinco regiones autónomas, cuatro municipios y dos regiones administrativas especiales, conforman la República Popular China. Su capital es Taiyuán.
Ciudad que se encuentra ubicada en la parte central del valle del Río Amarillo ( Huanghe ) China. Se sitúa entre los 34º34’ y 40º44’ de latitud Norte y entre los 110º15’ y 114º32’ de longitud Este.
