You’ll dive into your major from the start in classes that combine studio exploration and learning with academic work. All students take Visual Literacy, a class develops your understanding of 2D, 3D, and even 4D design concepts, as well as color theory.
In your first year, you’ll explore drawing, design, technology, and business—and you’ll gain a better understanding of concepts like creative processes, art as social practice, collaboration, research, and performance.
