The Cooper Union is comprised of Schools of Architecture, Art, Engineering and a Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Each school offers specialized programs and undergraduate degrees.
The Cooper Union offers a Master of Engineering degree with areas of concentration in chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering.
A candidate for a bachelor’s degree must be enrolled during the entire academic year immediately preceding the granting of the degree and must carry at least 12 credits per semester during that period.
DEGREE REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDENTS ENTERING PRIOR TO FALL 2022. Candidates for the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree are expected to complete 130 credits within eight semesters of study and within the following disciplinary credit distribution.
