Saga is a Canadian rock band from Oakville, Ontario. Bassist and keyboardist Jim Crichton and Welsh-born vocalist and keyboardist Michael Sadler are the principal songwriters. Saga has had numerous line-up changes over the years. Ian and Jim Crichton were the only two original members who appeared on every album.

7 de feb. de 2006 · Rochon was replaced by Greg Chadd for Images at Twilight (ML-8002/Poly 2424-202), issued in 1979, and Chadd thereafter by Jim Gilmour. Saga's synthesizer-dominated, progressive rock had its immediate and enduring popularity in Europe.
For Saga’s second album, 1979’s Images at Twilight (which spawned a minor hit single in Canada, “It’s Time”), Greg Chadd replaced Peter Rochon, and on 1980’s Silent Knight, Chadd was out and Jim Gilmour became the band’s new keyboard player.
The only deviation is keyboardist Greg Chadd. It’s a testosterone-fueled explosion of talent, this emerging quintet of musicians. Chadd’s tenure with the band was short-lived.
