Traffic rules and signs are designed to ensure a smooth flow of cars and reduce congestion on the roads. Disobedience of these rules can cause traffic backups, delays, and frustration among other road users.
1 de sept. de 2021 · The main results revealed that perceived legitimacy in the field of road safety can be related to different objects (i.e., traffic rules, traffic violations, traffic enforcement, institutions) that should be better delineated and differentiated in future research.
In this study, aimed to describe the knowledge and perceptions of drivers regarding traffic norms and its interaction with road safety, it has been observed that most of drivers affirm to know traffic rules and consider it as effective.
Enforcement of traffic laws improves compliance and reduces road traffic fatalities, injuries and related socioeconomic costs. 2. Adapt laws to a changing society. The risky behaviours associated with road traffic crashes evolve as societies change.
