Yorgos Seferis (en griego: Γιώργος Σεφέρης) (13 de marzo de 1900-Atenas, 20 de septiembre de 1971) era el nombre por el que era conocido Yorgos Stilianú Seferiadis, poeta, ensayista y diplomático griego que consiguió el Premio Nobel de Literatura en 1963, el primero de su nacionalidad en lograrlo.

Biographical. Giorgos Seferis was born in Smyrna, Asia Minor, in 1900. He attended school in Smyrna and finished his studies at the Gymnasium in Athens. When his family moved to Paris in 1918, Seferis studied law at the University of Paris and became interested in literature.
