11 de dic. de 2011 · An acclaimed novelist and short story writer, Ward Just began his career as a reporter, first for *the Waukegan News-Sun*, then *Newsweek* and later The Washington Post. As the Vietnam correspondent for *The Washington Post*, Just earned a reputation for fearlessness, venturing far into the field to report the war firsthand.
Ward Just was a war correspondent, novelist, and short story author. Ward Just graduated from Cranbrook School in 1953. He briefly attended Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. He started his career as a print journalist for the Waukegan (Illinois) News-Sun.
