Ita Clare Buttrose AC, OBE (born 17 January 1942) is an Australian television and radio personality, author and former magazine editor, publishing executive, newspaper journalist and television network executive chairperson.

Ita Buttrose is a media executive, author and community leader who has worked in print, radio and television. She has been the chair of the ABC Board since 2019 and is a member of the Australian Media Hall of Fame.
Ita Buttrose retires from her role as ABC chair this coming week, concluding the latest chapter in a media career that spans eight decades.
