Charles Émile Auguste Durand, conocido como Carolus-Duran (Lille, 4 de julio de 1837-París, 17 de febrero de 1917), fue un pintor e instructor de arte francés. Es conocido por sus pinturas de la alta sociedad en la Tercera República de Francia.
Carolus-Duran was a French painter and art instructor who specialized in portraits of high society in Third Republic France. He was also a director of the French Academy in Rome and a co-founder of the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts.
