Kathleen Scott. Edith Agnes Kathleen Young, Baroness Kennet, FRBS (née Bruce; formerly Scott; 27 March 1878 – 25 July 1947) was a British sculptor. Trained in London and Paris, Scott was a prolific sculptor, notably of portrait heads and busts and also of several larger public monuments.

Nacida como Edith Agnes Kathleen Bruce, era la pequeña de los once hijos de Canon Lloyd Stuart Bruce (1829–1886) y Jane Skene (m. 1880).

Formado en Londres y París, Scott fue un escultor prolífico, en particular de cabezas y bustos de retratos y también de varios monumentos públicos más grandes.
Abstract. The bronze sculpture variously known as These had most to give, Aspiration and Youth, stands in the forecourt of the Scott Polar Research Institute (SPRI) in Cambridge, and functions as a memorial to the British Antarctic Expedition polar party of 1911–1912.
Kathleen Scott was a traditional sculptor who worked in clay from life and studied with Rodin. She was married to the polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott and later to the 1st Baron Kennet. See her portraits and related people at the National Portrait Gallery.
