Drag Race Down Under is the sixth international adaptation of the American reality competition series RuPaul's Drag Race, following Chilean, Thai, British, Canadian, and Dutch versions. It has been followed by Spanish, Italian, French, Philippine, Belgian, Swedish, Mexican, Brazilian, and German iterations.
The third season of RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under was officially announced on October 24, 2022 by World of Wonder via their Instagram account. Casting opened that same day, with a deadline of November 13, 2022.
Synopsis: We meet the Australian and New Zealand drag queens competing to become down under’s first Drag Race superstar. It’s a hometown homage this week, as the queens showcase their personalities at the ‘get to know you’ ball.
