Shahmaran is a TV series based on a Kurdish legend about a mythical creature that can transform into a snake. It follows the love story of Sahsu, a modern woman who travels to Adana to meet her grandfather, and Maran, a descendant of the Shahmaran race.

Shahmaran (Turkish: Şahmaran) is a Turkish fantasy-drama Netflix series directed by Umur Turagay and written by Pınar Bulut. The show, which stars Serenay Sarıkaya and Burak Deniz in the lead roles, was released on 20 January 2023.
