Kazuo Ishiguro (カズオ・イシグロ Kazuo Ishiguro, formalmente 石黒一雄 Ishiguro Kazuo) (Nagasaki, Japón, 8 de noviembre de 1954) es un escritor británico de origen japonés que escribe en lengua inglesa. Recibió el Premio Nobel de Literatura 2017. [1]
Escritor británico nacido el 8 de noviembre de 1954 en Nagasaki, Japón. Su familia se trasladó a Inglaterra (su padre, oceanógrafo de profesión, empezó a trabajar en plataformas petrolíferas del Mar del Norte) cuando él tenía seis años, siendo ciudadano británico a todos los efectos.

Kazuo Ishiguro. (Nagasaki, 1954) Escritor británico de origen japonés. A partir de los seis años de edad vivió en Inglaterra, donde recibió una formación académica absolutamente occidental, desde la educación primaria hasta los estudios superiores, que cursó en la Universidad de Kent.

His latest novel The Buried Giant was published in 2015. He has also written two original screenplays for Channel 4 Television, A Profile of Arthur J. Mason, broadcast in 1984, and The Gourmet, broadcast in 1986. He was awarded the OBE in 1995 for services to literature and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
