Roger Penrose (Reino Unido: /ˈɹɒd͡ʒə ˈpenˌɹoz/; Colchester, 8 de agosto de 1931) es un físico matemático británico y profesor emérito de Matemáticas de la Universidad de Oxford. Es reconocido por su trabajo en física matemática, en particular por sus contribuciones a la teoría de la relatividad general y a la cosmología .
