V. Ramaswamy Aiyer, también escrito Aiyar, 1 (4 de agosto de 1871 - 22 de enero de 1936) fue un matemático aficionado indio, funcionario del Servicio Provincial de Madrás. En 1907, junto con un grupo de amigos, fundó la Sociedad Matemática India con sede en Pune.
V. Ramaswamy Aiyer (4 August 1871 – 22 January 1936) was a civil servant in the Madras Provincial Service. In 1907, along with a group of friends, he founded the Indian Mathematical Society with headquarters in Pune. He was the first Secretary of the Society and acted in that position until 1910.
