Tras estudiar en Valencia y Milán, se trasladó a Milán en 1990 y trabajó en el Centro de Diseño de Taipei y, de 2000 a 2005, en el Instituto Europeo de Diseño (IED) como tutor. Antonio Rodríguez es socio de Matteo Thun desde 2003. Su enfoque del diseño es sinónimo de sencillez e innovación.
