Fue el Presidente de la Conferencia Consultiva Política del Pueblo Chino desde marzo de 2003 hasta marzo de 2013.
Jia Qinglin, male, 62, Han nationality, is a native of Botou, Hebei Province. He was born in March 1940, joined the CPC in December 1959 and joined the workforce in October 1962. He graduated with a specialty in electric motor and appliance design and manufacturing from the Department of Electric Power of Hebei Engineering College.
