Dame Sally Claire Davies GCB DBE FRS FMedSci (born 24 November 1949) is a British physician. She was the Chief Medical Officer from 2010 to 2019 and Chief Scientific Adviser at the Department of Health from 2004 to 2016.
Dame Sally is a leading global health advocate and the UK's representative on antimicrobial resistance (AMR). She was the Chief Medical Officer for England and the Chief Scientific Adviser for the Department of Health, and is now the Master of Trinity College, Cambridge.
