Jazz. Occupation (s) Musician. Instrument (s) Saxophone. Website. www .elleryeskelin .com. Ellery Eskelin (born August 16, 1959) is an American tenor saxophonist raised in Baltimore, Maryland and residing in New York City. His parents, Rodd Keith and Bobbie Lee, were both professional musicians.
Ellery Eskelin graduated from Towson in 1982. He was in the Towson State University Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of legendary composer Hank Levy.Eskelin would later return to the school as an artist-in-residence under the Murray Jazz Residency.Through this program, he taught master classes, performed with faculty and students, and mentored undergraduate musicians.
