Richard Steven Valenzuela Reyes ( Pacoima, Los Ángeles, California, 13 de mayo de 1941- Clear Lake, Iowa, 3 de febrero de 1959), conocido como Ritchie Valens, fue un músico, compositor, cantante y guitarrista estadounidense de origen mexicano.
