David Kilgour (Winnipeg, 18 de febrero de 1941 - Ottawa, 5 de abril de 2022) [1] fue un abogado, escritor, defensor de derechos humanos y político canadiense miembro del Consejo Privado de la Reina para Canadá.
David Auld Kilgour MNZM (born 1961 or 1962) is a New Zealand songwriter, musician and recording artist from Dunedin. He first started playing guitar as a teenager in the late 1970s. With brother Hamish he formed The Clean, a group that went on to become one of the principal acts of the Dunedin Sound.

David William Kilgour PC (February 18, 1941 – April 5, 2022) was a Canadian human rights activist, author, lawyer, and politician. He was also a Senior Fellow to the Raoul Wallenberg Centre for Human Rights. Kilgour graduated from the University of Manitoba in economics in 1962 and the University of Toronto law school in 1966.

From his earliest days as a member of the legendary Clean onward, singer/songwriter, David Kilgour has come to be known as one of the most respected & admired songwriters of his generation & certainly one of the greatest rock musicians to come out of New Zealand.
