Alice Melinda Cohen (born November 25, 1958) also known by the stage name Alice Desoto, is a New York City-based American singer, songwriter, musician and fine artist. She has performed as the lead vocalist for two major label bands, the Vels and Die Monster Die.

Alice Cohen (born November 25, 1958) is a musician and visual artist based in Brooklyn, NY. She grew up in Philadelphia as the daughter of 2 professional jazz pianists. She has had a number of exhibitions with her visual art and videos and has produced several (animated) music videos for other artists.
