Wet Gold is a 1921 American silent drama film directed by and starring Ralph Ince. [1] Plot. The film features pirates, a race for buried treasure, and a submarine. The protagonist learns about the treasure from the pirates, who are promptly and conveniently killed in an accident.

Sinopsis. Wet Gold is the story of a young woman (Laura), who works as a waitress in a cafe. Laura stumbles across a drunk elderly man (Sampson), who fills her with exciting stories of a boat that went down with millions in gold.
John Cromwell escapes from a gang of "pirates" to Havana, where he meets Kentucky Colonel Hamilton and his daughter Grace. Though threatened by his former captors, Cromwell has a chart showing the whereabouts of a sunken treasure ship, which they set out to find.
