Sinopsis. Katty (Jane Greer), una periodista norteamericana redactora de un semanario, llega a un perdido pueblo mexicano siguiendo la pista de Michael Latimer (Richard Widmark), famoso novelista de quien nadie tiene noticias. Latimer se siente inmediatamente atraído por ella.
A Touch of the Sun plot. William Darling is a doorman at a large hotel. When he inherits a fortune, Will quickly wastes it and wants his old job back. In the meantime, however, the hotel has run into serious financial problems and it is up to Will to turn the empty hotel into a gold mine again.
