Something's Afoot is a musical that spoofs detective stories, mainly the works of Agatha Christie, and especially her 1939 detective novel And Then There Were None. The book, music, and lyrics were written by James McDonald, David Vos, and Robert Gerlach, with additional music by Ed Linderman.
Details. Summary. A zany, entertaining musical that takes a satirical poke at Agatha Christie mysteries and musical styles of the English music hall of the 1930s. Ten people are stranded in an isolated English country house during a raging thunderstorm. One by one, they’re picked off by cleverly fiendish devices.
