The Clue of the New Pin is a British crime film directed by Allan Davis and starring Paul Daneman, Bernard Archard and James Villiers. It was one of the series of Edgar Wallace Mysteries, British second-features, produced at Merton Park Studios in the 1960s.

Based on Edgar Wallace’s 1923 novel, CLUE OF THE NEW PIN is a fun example of the classic locked room mystery. A nasty millionaire played by David Horne (THE WICKED LADY) is found murdered in the vault at his home, where he keeps all his money (he doesn’t trust banks).
