Den Helder. Two brothers are at a crossroads in their lives: the older one comes out of prison after a violent crime, the younger the next day goes with the navy on a distant peace mission. They kill time in different places, where their paths regularly cross.
Den Helder, just another town somewhere in the North of Holland. But today is not a day like all the others for Maarten and Emiel, the two sons of an ordinary family. Maarten has joined the Marines and is about to leave for Lebanon for a six-month mission.
