A scatty but oddly comprehensive documentary that busily pieces together most of the bits a novice or adroit traveller might desire to know about Jarman, at least up to 1988 that is. The bitty presentation is modish of a time when the look and feel of such programmes was starting to overwhelm a subject (and haven’t stopped doing so since).
