John Richard Keith "Fuzz" Townshend (born 31 July 1964) is a British drummer, TV presenter of National Geographic Channel's Car SOS (also shown on Channel 4/More4), motoring journalist for Classic Car Weekly, former technical editor of Practical Classics, and mechanic.

The band re-grouped in 2004 featuring mainstay/band leader Lloyd, original Prefects guitarist Alan Apperley, ex-Nightingales Byrchmore and Duffy, plus former PWEI drummer Robert "Fuzz" Townshend. This line-up released four 7-inch singles in 2004/5 before Townshend was replaced by Aaron Moore of Volcano The Bear .
Robert "Fuzz" Townshend was born on 31 July 1964. Fuzz was the drummer of Pop Will Eat Itself from 1991 onwards. He's been a drummer since the age of ten, has worked as a bus mechanic, truck driver, college lecturer, landcape gardener and used to own a bar in Digbeth, Birmingham called The Rainbow until 2005.
