Matteo Garrone (Roma, 15 de octubre de 1968) es un director de cine, guionista y productor cinematográfico italiano.
The Nastro d'Argento awarded Garrone both Best Producer and Best Director for Dogman. He received the latter again for Pinocchio (2019). In 2019, Garrone was invited to become a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Matteo Garrone is an Italian director, writer and producer known for his adaptations of literary works such as Gomorrah, Tale of Tales and Pinocchio. He has won several awards, including the Grand Prix at Cannes for Reality and the European Film Awards for Gomorrah.
