John Franzese Jr. (born 1960/61), now living as Mat Pazzarelli, is an American former mobster and associate of the Colombo crime family, and son of former underboss John "Sonny" Franzese. He is the first son of a New York mobster to turn state's evidence and testify against his father.

24 de feb. de 2020 · John Franzese Jr., formerly Mat Pazzarelli, is the son of notorious Colombo crime family mobster Sonny Franzese. He testified against his father in court and went into witness protection, but now lives in Indianapolis and works with addicts.
His younger son, John Franzese Jr., was a Colombo family associate before becoming an FBI informant. On June 23, 2017, Franzese was released and returned home. In 2019, Franzese Jr. met with his father at the nursing home where he resided and reconciled with him; John Jr. had previously voluntarily left the Witness Protection Program.
