Gordon Arthur "Red" Berenson (born December 8, 1939) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre and head coach of the Michigan Wolverines men's ice hockey team from 1984 to 2017. Berenson was inducted into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame in 2005 and the United States Hockey Hall of Fame in 2018.

Blues Hall of Fame Class of 2023. The second Team Captain in St. Louis Blues history, Berenson was known for his devotion to the game, both as a player and a coach.
Berenson is one of four former Michigan ice hockey captains to coach the Wolverines. He was named an All-American for the second time in his collegiate career in 1962 when he recorded 70 points (43G, 27A) in just 28 games. The 43 goals and nine hat tricks he scored that season remain Michigan records today.

He earned the 1980-81 Jack Adams Award (NHL Coach of the Year, first awarded in 1973-74) after leading the St. Louis Blues to a 45-18-17 mark, the second-best record in the league.
